Caitlin Burditt, PhD
Caitlin Burditt is a clinical psychologist and founding member of
Still Waters Wellness, where she also serves as Clinical Director and
psychotherapist. Caitlin specializes in behavioral medicine and health
psychology, emphasizing the integration of physical and psychological
health in an effort to treat the “whole person”. With over a decade of
experience in Primary Care Mental Health Integration, she is committed
to providing patients with comprehensive, holistic, and patient-centered
care. Caitlin also has clinical expertise in the evidence-based,
cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) of anxiety disorders, OCD,
insomnia, trauma, depression, and adjustment to/management of chronic
illness.
Caitlin received an undergraduate degree in psychology from Middlebury
College and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of
Rhode Island. She completed her clinical internship at the Warren Alpert
Medical School of Brown University and went on to complete her
post-doctoral fellowship at UMASS Medical School where she specialized
in working as a psychologist across a variety of medical settings.
Prior to establishing Stillwaters Wellness, Caitlin was a dedicated
provider at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Providence since
2012, where she served as a psychologist in Primary Care Behavioral
Health. She has also maintained a clinical faculty appointment at Brown
University since 2014 and is passionate about the education and training
of future psychologists and other mental health professionals.
In her clinical practice, Caitlin deeply values the collaborative
relationship and shared decision-making between therapist and patient.
She delivers evidence-based therapy with warmth, compassion, and a
non-judgmental approach that creates a supportive environment for
psychological healing and growth.
